Website privacy policy
Last updated: 17 October 2026
1. Data controller
The data controller is RetroBottega S.r.l. For any request about your data write to retrobottegaapp@gmail.com. This policy only covers the showcase website www.retrobottega.app; the RetroBottega app has its own policy.
2. Data collected
If you fill in the contact form we collect your name, email and, if you provide them, phone number, shop name and address, and your message. While you browse we collect aggregated usage statistics (pages visited, device type, country) through Umami, without cookies and without identifying you.
3. Purposes and legal basis
We use form data to reply to your request for information and get back to you (pre-contractual measures at your request, Art. 6.1.b GDPR). Aggregated statistics help us understand how the site is used and improve it (legitimate interest, Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Providing form data is optional, but without name and email we cannot reply.
4. Recipients
Data is not sold. We rely on providers acting as data processors: Railway to host the website and database; Umami for usage statistics; an email provider to notify our team internally when we receive a request. The site's fonts are served from our own servers, with no requests to Google.
5. Transfers outside the EEA
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case the transfer is covered by adequate safeguards under the GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
Contact requests are kept for as long as needed to handle them and any resulting business relationship. Website statistics are aggregated and do not identify individual visitors.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase your data, restrict or object to processing and request portability (GDPR, EU Regulation 2016/679). You may lodge a complaint with the data protection authority. To exercise your rights write to retrobottegaapp@gmail.com.
8. Cookies
The site uses no profiling cookies or third-party marketing cookies. Umami does not use cookies and does not track visitors across sites.
